Happy New Year!

January 1, 2017 by admin

Happy New Year everyone! Yes, I know I haven’t posted in a looong time. Sorry! Just haven’t had much to say. Life happens. I am not much on new year resolutions, but I love a challenge. I am still extremely obese and struggling with several health issues. So…. I have taken up a challenge. It the 1st Phorm Transphormation Challenge. 1st Phorm is a top tier, if not the top tier, supplement company in the fitness and weight loss industry. Basically you use their supplements and compete in your own transformation. You can target weight loss or body development transformation, or both.

In case you don’t have a clue about me or my struggles here is my information that I submitted for this challenge:

My name is Tony Grogan. I am 57 years old, happily married and we have four grown children. I have been over weight most of my life, and have really abused this old body. There are a few times over the years that I have done quite well at reducing, but never really reached my goals. I maintained a heavy but otherwise healthy 220-225 pound weight through college and early career. We were married when I was almost 30 years old, and I started slowly adding pounds. In 1994, when our twins were born, I ended my 20 year habit smoking cigarettes. At that time I was hovering around 255-260. Within one year I had ballooned to 325 pounds, and I have been stuck, with in plus or minus 10 pounds of that number ever since. As you can see in my pictures I am grossly over weight. I have multiple health problems which have recently raised their ugly heads. I have high cholesterol, I am borderline diabetic, and I am starting to have breathing issues, all of which are attributable to my weight. I am also starting to have back and joint problems as well. My wife, who is starting to have health problems of her own, and I both have decided that this is the year we take control of our health and we will be following a clean and healthy diet and we will be working out using a mix of cardio and strength building exercises. We have sacrificed ourselves over the past 25+ years to our kids and our family. Absolutely no regrets though. We raised four great athletic kids, all of which lettered in multiple sports. Starting when they were preschoolers, playing rec ball, all the way through college. They are still active playing sports and running in 5-10k events. We are definitely rocking the empty house syndrome, and sorely miss the athletic events. Maybe it’s time we can enjoy those from the field instead of the stands!

As of January 1, 2018, I have accepted the 1st Phorm Transphormation Challenge, and it starts today! I have received my first standing order from 1st Phorm. I am starting with the Results Stack (M-Factor, Full-Mega, Royal King System) and the Adrenal Restore. I am sure I will be adding other 1st Phorm supplements as we go along. I weighed in this morning at 340 pounds and my ultimate goal is not just weight loss, but to regain my health. And, hey, the prospect of winning some great money doesn’t hurt either. My dad was an athlete and could have played pro baseball back in the day. My mom has always been naturally healthy and athletic. So I have the genes, why not become an athlete myself. I have always dreamed of owning my own gym and helping other people succeed, but until I could produce my own gym body it would be pointless. I will report my progress, and weigh-in stats every 30 days.
